Multihull Open
With Bala Lake previously having a separate Sailing Club and Catamaran Club at opposite ends of the lake, the joining of the "Cat Club" to the Bala Sailing Club bought an increased interest in Multihulls. With almost 4 miles of lake and 3/4 mile wide in places, it is a natural home for Multihulls to really stretch their legs (or hulls).....
In the last few years we have had an increase in Tri's as well with the Weta Class making a great showing last year.
The 2 day event aims to have 3 races per day and with the Catapults already locked in for 2027 and a growing active fleet of Bala SC members of a range of experience, this promises to be a multihull open that is truly open to all abilities!
